Camp Moore

These pictures are from Camp Moore in south-eastern Louisiana. It was a training base for the Confederate during the Civil War. It is not far from where my wife grew up, located north of New Orleans near the Louisiana and Mississippi state line.

A beautiful partly cloudy day, cold and windy.

The Pumpkin Patch

In October my wife and I went to a pumpkin patch with some close friends and their chilren. Their son is one of the cutest and most photogenic kids I know. We had a great time watching the kids have fun and enjoying a nice saturday afternoon together.

It was a beautiful blue sky day. The temperature was great and I got many great photos. It was a super fun day. I even feel like I learned a little about taking pictures on a super bright day.

Pictures taken with a Cannon EOS 50D with a EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens.

Enjoy and feel free to leave comments.

Senior Photos

I had the chance to take senior photos for my wife's cousin. We took them on a cold, windy day in December. It wasn't an ideal day, but it was the only day we had since I live in Montgomery, AL and he lives in south Louisiana.

It was my first time taking pictures like this and it was a fun learning experience. We spent about an hour and a half taking pictures and these are a sample of what we got. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
